As a hippie and a mother of eight children ages six to 28 and three beautiful grand-babies. I often found it necessary to be creative when it came to gifts for the kids. Little did I realize how much joy I would get from hand crafting their toys. It was and is important to me to try to put as much learning into the toys as I could. My quiet books teach tactile sensation and small object manipulation for younger kids, to counting and alphabet for preschoolers, even a full anatomy puzzle for older children and adults. Additionally, I also make pretend play masks and finger puppets to encourage children's imagination and social skills.
