We finally got all setup late last night in Huntsville, AL at the Northeast Alabama Crafter’s Assoication (N.E.A.C.A) Spring show. So many new lines being added this year to our shows and there are already a LOT of new quiet book pages on the shelves. The Cowboy is running shotgun on his first full on show to be ready for the fall season where he will be showing at Ron Meyers Christmas City Show in Gulfport, MS in November. This show we have several new storybook pages in that series as well as bead mazes, handwriting, and a Farmer’s Market series that are all debuting.

We have finally rolled into Gatlinburg for the July Craftman's Fair in Gatlinburg, Tn at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.
Tater Tot and I got to experience our first Dolly Parton dinner show name 'Celebration' with some of the best acrobats and gymnastist I've ever seen, and the food wad amazing! Well, we're going to crash for the night. We will be awtting up for Friday's early in the morning. I came across this great open letter to other moms over on "This Mom with a Blog", and felt it needs to be passed along. Too many times we as moms sit on the back burner feeling like we don't deserve gratitude from our love ones, or are failing as moms. I know this is a constant battle for me personally. If I am traveling without the boys for work I feel like they are being "left out in the cold" or "being cheated" because I'm gone and working. But if I take them with me to a show they are "being forced to be quiet and stay out of the way" for hours at a time, etc therefore not getting enough attention. The reality is I'm doing a good job. Just as importantly, so are you! We as moms don't tell each other "Hey you know what? That laundry that is covering the couch waiting to be folded? Go on with your bad self sister.. you got clothes washed!" But you know what? We should. There are hundreds of things we see in ourselves as failures, but the reality is.. WE ARE ROCKING THIS MOM THING! Your floor is covered in smashed Cheerios... Fantastic! You fed (and probably watered) someone today. You are doing great! Are you kids watching their 10th episode of the day of Dora? Awesome! They are learning Spanish. You've got this mom thing down. Take a break, drink a cup of coffee and remind your self.... You are awesome! Read the article here on This Momma with a Blog Protect yourself from Diamond Resorts https://youtu.be/zAkBlfyhVYQ This video is from good friends if mine that uncovered a horriable truth under the diamond glamor. So I have seen this campaign for Vimana the last several weeks, and am enthralled with the concept of being able to manage the amount of time my children interact with their phones.
Do you feel like your children should have unlimited access to the information super highway, or possibly a little management on your part? I very much appreciated that this will give me not just the ability to keep my kids from sneaking online at 2am which of course can be done from my own router, but to control how much time they have in differnt activities on their devices. Here is some more information about Vimana for those that are interested: "Vimana is a combination of smart home device and mobile app that helps parents manage their children’s digital experience and create a healthy relationship with technology.
